School Programs
Students learn to think with art.
Programs support visual literacy, close observation, curiosity, inquiry, critical and creative thinking, interpretation, communication, collaborative discussion, artistic experimentation, problem-solving, confidence, multiple perspectives, and connections between art, curriculum, and lived experience.
Studio experiences encourage exploration rather than replication. Students investigate how artists work and use what they discover as a starting point for their own artmaking.
Media may include drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, book arts, sculpture, mixed media, puppetry, mask making, mosaics, murals, and collaborative artmaking.

The Signature Museum in a School Experience
The core program. Students spend sustained time with a work of art, build interpretations from visual evidence through open-ended questioning and facilitated conversation, then carry those questions into the studio to make work of their own.

Connecting Art with Literacy, History, Science & More
Developed with classroom teachers around a current unit of study. Works of art become primary sources for looking closely, gathering evidence, and making connections across subjects, with artmaking that extends the thinking.

Art, Literacy & Visual Storytelling
Students read images as they would read texts — noticing detail, sequence, character, setting, and mood — and then build their own narratives through drawing, book arts, and collage.

Looking at Who We Are and Where We Belong
Through portraiture, place, and works by artists exploring identity and migration, students consider multiple perspectives and their own lived experience, then make work that speaks in their own voice.

Materials, Process & Creative Problem-Solving
A studio-led investigation of how artists work. Students test materials, make choices, encounter problems, and revise — treating experimentation, not a finished likeness, as the point.

Customized Multi-Session Partnership
An extended residency developed with a school. Sessions build across weeks toward a shared body of work and, where a school wishes, an exhibition of student work and thinking.
Programs are available as single workshops, multi-session series, residencies, after-school programs, and customized partnerships.
